In case anyone is wondering gears 4 and 5 had split screen on PC and it mogged console splitscreen so hard. The performance was better and it gave you the option to change FOV and choose between horizontal or vertical split screen. Vertical split screen is the quintessential way to play split screen but IQlets will never acknowledge this.
Don't worry, there will be a mod that enables it anyways.
