Absolutely love it and love the way that it properly connects HL1 and HL2, even as somebody who HATES Half Life 2.Anybody who doesn't like new Xen is a genuine (genuine) retard. Original Xen feels like Valve was just done with the game and wanted to get it out the door, like a bad homework assignment that they already spent too long. New Xen is long and good enough to be it's own dedicated chunk of the game, where somebody could say Black Mesa or Xen is their favorite part of the game. Anybody who would say Xen was their favorite part of HL1 would be lying to you. You could go either way with saying you like either Black Mesa or Xen in the remake.

Black mesa isn't as perfect as you think and some of the changes they did are straight downgrades such as the stupid black out section in power up. Also xen needed one level to be cut because it started dragging on and getting boring.
