>every Banjo-Kazooie level tier list
>Rusty Bucket Bay is at the bottom
What the spruce?
>>

i don't even remember this level so it probably deserves it
now the bumble bee level on the other hand is probably near the top
>>
>>740936387
banjo, like zelda mostly appeals to people who don't like video games so the only remotely challenging level you can actually die in is considered terrible. It's telling that the fans of this game think this is all a bad thing and not the shallow amusement park design especially of insanely dull levels like the swamp or desert or winter levels.
>>
>>740936695
This. It's the only level that had actual platforming lol
>>
>>740936387
The propellor Jiggy, probably
>>
The platforms in the room with all the spinning fans above an instadeath pit have a nasty habit of turning your upward jump into some kind of fucked sideways fling that is impossible to recover from.
>>
>>740936695
Funnily enough, they indeed put the literal amusement park level from Tooie as the best thing ever created as well.
>>
>>740936387
The oil water just was not fun and the atmosphere sucked. It's a fine level but the others are just better
>>
>>740936387
The engine room filters casuals
Even the ones who "play" the game with rewind and save states
>>
Mayhem Temple > Mambo's Mountain
Jolly Roger's Lagoon > Treasure Trove Cove
Grunty's Industries > Rusty Bucket bay/Clanker's Cavern
Freezeezy peak > Hailfire Peaks
Gobbie's vally > Terrydactyland
Glitter Gulch Mine > BubbleGloop Swamp
Everything > Cuckoocloud Land
A box > Click Clock wod
>>
>>740936387
As a kid I would avoid that level like the plague, it made me feel depressed for whatever reason.

Nah, fuck that. Level's great. Best music in the game too.

>Grunty Industries
Top tier. Definitely.

>>740936387
nah OP rusty bucket bay is kino. It has the boat exterior, interior, the water, the shipyard, lots of verticality and a cool atmosphere and industrial theme. Its a very dynamic map

its better without losing notes. Tooie fixed that, shame notes are so inconsequential in that game and feel like they were put in out of obligation. A 5-note pack or 2, sure. 16 5-note packs though? That's just to much. The treble clefts just shouldn't exist
>>
>>740945005
You'd think Grunty Industries at rock bottom would be the thing I'd take issue with here but
>Cloud Cuckooland in B
I cannot make sense of this. If you are playing as Banjo, this level is an atrocity to navigate. I don't even mind the whole Canary Mary thing, and Mingy Jongo is a cool boss but FUCK this level layout dude.

>its better without losing notes.
YOU LOSE THE NOTES
