I'm 38 and I've been a console babby my entire life. Should I just accept my fate and game on Playstation until I die or is PC still a viable option? I've been hearing that the PC market these days is generally dire and that this is most likely the last generation of PC parts, if that's the case I might as well stick with console. At the same it's always been my dream to build a monster PC but I've always been intimidated to build one. I'm getting tired of consoles also and always feel like I'm playing an inferior product. Help me out

if you wait a few year, it is possible that you will get a better dealdepends on how much you game whether its worth it now. You can also go buy an old system to dip your toes into the water. Will be on par with consoles in performance, but you gain freedom and better game sales. You pay a significant premium for leading edge new stuff
Find a local PC autist who will pick parts and build it for you.Pay him and don't expect endless tech support.No one wants to deal with tech illiterate people.The alternative? Laptop or a prebuild. In the end only your budget is the limiting factor.
