Any hardcore players here? Anons, wanted to ask a legit question - is beating Darkwood on Nightmare with ZERO deaths (nightmare is only one-life in chapter 1 - when you reach The Swamp, you get infinite lives) - I didn't die once even in the swamp. I never did speedrunning or zero death runs in any game. Was this a huge deal? I cleared Darkwood one time on normal (infinite lives), two times on hard (four lives, can replenish) two times with one swamp death on nightmare, one time on nightmare without dying once.It was actually pretty damn hard. Now... The game would actually be easy if the goal was to get to the end as fast as you can - I would be getting 0 death runs over and over - but I had a rule for fun - 100% completion (where possible - game has choices and branching paths) - clearing out every POI, every house. So clearing the game for me meant looting every single poi and house. Am I basically some kinda hardcore gamer? Never thought of myself like that, and Darkwood isn't exactly ADHD mouse flick game, but it's about planning, strategy, and not panicking because you can die VERY quickly.
