You literally kill all interesting characters the universe has to offer. Every single expansion is a genocide of named characters, the ones people actually know from the strategy games.Blizzard ruined Kael, made him a retard and had Bloodelves kill their own prince. Orcs have to timetravel to kill the heroes of their race and possibly even their younger selves. Blizzard killed off the fucking Lich King. They killed off Illidan, before giving you the Demon Hunter. They killed the son of Grommash Hellscream after making him the first wow-only character, who people actually rememeber, is relevant to the story and is interesting. They then killed the king of Stormwind in a cutscene in a pointless sacrifice, because of "muh faction equality", since he is also a wow-only character and not killing him is unfair or something.You constantly kill anything and anyone interesting in the World of Warcraft.
