somehow, Destiny returned....
1 SIX SEVEN, 8 SIX SEVEN
>>740971464destiny is as shit as maratroon. not less or more shitty, equally shitty
>>740971464just goes to show how smooth destiny fans brains are, "LETS GET BACK IN AND PLAY DESTINY 2 TO SHOW WE WANT DESTINY 3 REEEEEEEEEE" bungies does not give a fuckkkk , there money and time is in marathon, get the fuck over it. Pumping your money into destiny 2 is just funding marathon, they arnt and do not want to make destiny 3. fuck off with destiny 3 shit
>>740971464>bungie pulls the plug on destiny to save marathon>everyone leaves marathon hoping to save destiny>mfw they both end up dead
>>740972114>>740972283mad as fuck
>>740972283It's a big deal when the game you abandon outperforms BOTH the server slam and the F2P "week" (combined?) of the game you're going all in on.Even checking St*am Ch*rts right now, you can see that the F2P week didn't really add any long-term players either, it ended a few days ago and it's back to getting ~12k 24h peaks like it was before the week. (Not pictured.)Meanwhile, Destiny 2 has 10x the players and it's a lot more level than anything Marathon's doing, and that's something shareholders are probably going to notice. Any smart shareholder/investor/boss is going to start asking why Marathon hasn't been stripped for parts to funnel into Destiny 1-3 yet.I've got no horse in this race as I don't like Destiny for a wide variety of reasons, but it's not hard to see why shareholders and such might get pretty mad if something doesn't change soon.
>>740972318>everyone leaves marathon hoping to save destinythey left marathon for another reason
>>740972318>>740974310The whole situation is insane. Marathon is already dead in the water but will Sony really pour hundreds of millions of dollars to pivot back to Destiny? Bungie is just a money sink at this point.
>>740971464Honestly the QOL is really nice and compared to when I last played (I think it was right after Beyond Light dropped) I'm progressing much more quickly. The grind is pretty reasonable DESU, and I'm enjoying myself about as much as when I first bought destiny 2
>>740971464>highest player count in 2 yearsyeah thats why they abandoned d2. are destiny fans really this stupid? you chucklefucks stopped playing years ago
>>740971464>dropped d2 after the great vaulting incidentis the game worth getting back into?i was mainly a crucible player fwiw
>>740975774You could probably save some money and just relive some crucible again until you get your fill since who knows how long the game will be popular again for.
I had some pretty badass guardians aesthetics wise but i went to go install and it was 154 gb now i shuddered, 154gb and no red war
