why is this game uncharacteristically hard for a JRPG? i'm replaying it since i never managed to finish it as a kid but even now i'm too retarded to figure out how the Djinn system works.

>>740974258How many of certain djinn types you have active at a time determine your class. So if you have 1 Mars, 1 Mercury, and 1 Venus on, you get X class. Use the mercury, and X class changes to Y, with a different moveset. Reset the Mercury, and you're back to X.You're an idiot.

>>740974258if you aren't sure what you're doing, only have red on garret, blue on mia, purple on ivan, and brown on isaac. that'll get you the base classes which are the least shit if you don't know what you're doing.if you can't do that because you don't have all four characters yet, just throw any mismatched ones on standby, djinn on standby don't affect class, only set ones do.
