There's in game NPC trades anon. That's actually the only way to get Jynx in the english versions of gen 1 without glitches or trading from a gen 2 game. In the japanese versions wild Jinx can only be found in Blue version (which is different from English blue version)

The garbage, underdeveloped gameplay in GSC was inexcusable and the fact that the game only "gets good" after you've transferred mons to Stadium 2 is bullshit.
