And more and more countries down south are beginning to try to look outside of American influence to trade and develop with one another and foreign powers, something that would have gotten them couped to hell and back just 40 years ago. When and if shit goes sideways with China in the Pacific, Washington will probably expend all of its domestic political capital, its budget, and capacity to maintain its global empire to win the war, and America will be reduced to a regional power, if not an exceptionally powerful one, but regional nonetheless.
