I see lots of Stalker in those 3x3, either Shadow of Chernobyl or Call of Prypiat and it makes quite mad because I feel like I made the wrong choice.The first stalker I bought was Clear sky (just because it was the cheapest and I had no idea it came out in second) and I just cannot get through it, I've tried thrice since 2019 and I dropped it on the same save 3 times.I love post apo, I love the first 2 Metro which looks very similar and I don't even dislike the game but it's such a fucking slog and so hard to get a status quo of feeling like you've progressed. I can kill 60 bumfuck bandits in their own base after 6 hours of attrition warfare because 2 bullets will just end you instantly and yet they will all respawn in barely 20 minutes refilling the entire base and it felt like I've done nothing but stack more useless loot.I don't know if I picked the wrong game or if it's just a bad Stalker but the game legit doesn't want you to appreciate the experience, it's legit as miserable as real life post apo russia would be.
