does Sleepycabin hit the same way anymore? It's funny, I was in a really depressed time of my life when I discovered the Sleepycabin podcast around DD&J's heyday. Was wonderful escapism. Then like years later right around when it was ending I found Cumtown, and I fucking fell in love with it, it has sone of my favorite comedy bits and Nick Mullen is my favorite comedian to this day. But what stood out to me is how in retrospect the similarities to the two started adding up. Alt edgy dudes doing counterculter comedy with a minor parasocial connection I try to fight (I never thought I could just text these guys but its hard not to appreciate them and not desire to be involved).
