Then the answer is no, Celeste is a mountain in Canada, which is nowhere near Antarctica.

Some fans initially interpreted her as having a mental illness. But this interpretation sparked some controversy because, if that were the case, the game would be teaching the worst possible lesson: "Embrace your mental illness".
Just imagine: someone is showing signs of mental instability associated with depression, and you tell them, "Embrace your new condition because that's what makes you who you are!"
Of course, no one in their right mind would believe that this could be a message anyone would try to convey, which is why the interpretation regarding mental illness was never really accepted by fans.

Then the dev started dressing up as a woman, and everyone realized what the game was really saying, and discussing it became taboo precisely because there's a powerful lobby doing exactly what some fans thought was unthinkable: telling mentally ill people to embrace their condition (because that's profitable for the transgender industrial complex).

wait the dev is trans? i didn't know that. he lusts after black cock too lol
>>
>>741081074
I don't know if that's because I want to be a woman myself, but I figured immediately that the whole game is trans-coded
>>
>>741080301
no she's just depressed but the person who made the game is trans but they are not celeste

>game first comes oit
>game is about a girl that wants to climb a mountain and overcome her anxiety
>game manifests her doubts as a coporeal presence that tries to stop or belittle her
>she succeeds in accepting her insecurities and climbs the mountain
>game is now about Trans identity shit or w/e
Good game but the message is now completely fucked

I don't know, maybe it's clearer now, but I think back in 2018 a lot of people didn't really understand what this was all about. At least when I played the game, I had no idea it might be addressing transgender issues because that wasn't even part of my worldview.
I just thought she was an unattractive girl with self-esteem issues and depression, all that stuff indie games love to talk about.

Troon game, troon thread.
>>
im just gonna come out and say it. yes, its a troon game. but it has a strong case to be the greatest 2d platformer of all time. and if you dont like it, and you havent beaten all the b+c sides and chapter 9, you're not a real gamer. this is my genuine unironic opinion.

Thorson could deepthroat me as I step on his/her head and pull his hair. smack him around a little. Ask him to play a level of Celeste and each time he dies I smack his ass. After the 4th death we aren't even playing the game anymore. It's ok cause it wasnt a very good one anyway. Nothing better than dropping a load in a horny troons throat.
No homo.

Not initially. The DLC retconned it.
