Mid 40s here. Any other older fellas here? Say 35 and up? What are you playing, and what do you like to play? I'm currently playing metaphor refantazio, early game, first playthrough. I like action/J/Open world/souls style RPGs, horror, sci fi fps/tps, 2d platformers, platform RPGs, beaten ups, etc.

No wife, no kids, no gf. I work from home so I can basically do whatever during the work day so I peruse v/tv if I get bored of working or can't focus. How are you today?

36. BloonsTD6, Doom, Fallout 3, Bejewelled 3. I stick to my comfort zone.
>>
I keep buying games to play them for 3-4 hours only to get bored and give up. Nothing feels new anymore. I finished James Bond and regret it because it was definitely mediocre and formulaic.

35 here. Playing through some the Red Alert 3 campaign again. Reinstalled Morrowind, going to try and figure out how to mod it on now that I have switched over to Linux. Also playing Ashes 2063 which is a mod for doom. Very impressed with it.

42 here and I've mostly been playing old games for several years now and I'm genuinely happy.
Mainly RPGs and action adventures and sometimes old strategy games with some old friends.

Modding Fallout 3 to work on Linux (Fedora) was easier than I thought it would be, hope modding Morrowind goes smoothly for you.

I bought Ghost n Goblins Resurrection for very cheap recently. It surpassed my expectations I think it is underrated

Thanks frien, I looked up some guides and it looks not too bad. Getting Doom mods to work was way easier than I thought. Running Linux Mint currently

31, going through another pokemon phase again. i finally completed a national pokedex for the first time and it was for legends arceus. granted it is the only pokemon game you can fully complete a pokedex on your own but it pushed me to go complete the pokedex on lets go pikachu and pokemon sword.

i also started shiny hunting, i have a shiny metagross which i've alwats wanted since i was a kid and two shiny charizards. currently i'm shiny hunting a rayquaza on dynamax adventures.

Finished Shinobi: Art Of Vengeance 100% recently. It was a blast and I'm a sucker for metroidvanias but I understand why so many criticized it. I hope they make a sequel but with the classic action arcade format

I'm playing Oblivion and Final Fantasy 7
I wish I was young again. I wasn't in the right state of mind in my youth to enjoy it and now it's too late. Life fucked me hard

>What are you playing, and what do you like to play?
Started Lufia 2 over the weekend. So far I'm thinking it's decent, but overrated. The game's structure feels really repetitive and formulaic so far, just the same sequence of events over and over with no story to latch onto yet. The battles are fun with a couple unique but simple mechanics. The backgrounds for the battles are gorgeous.
I play a lot of different things, depending on my mood. It was beat em ups and Castlevania 3 the previous weekend. I'll probably pick up Mina when I get back from travelling in a couple of weeks. There should be a Steam sale underway by then too.
Elsewhere in life, I'm getting back into running after a rough year. I'm a little short of half marathon distance. While I understand and appreciate how these training plans work, it's tough not to overdo it. Other than internals, each run leaves me craving more.
I've also been self-guiding myself through learning guitar. I'll probably sign up for lessons, but that's another thing where I'm waiting until summer travel winds down.

38, playing Sovereign Syndicate which is like a shittier Disco Elysium. But I like the setting it's pretty cool and the writing is all right.

35, playan Ninja Gaiden 4. I like character action, hack n slash, beat em ups and shmups.

48, mostly play multiplayer slop like cs, battlefield, deadlock aso. Dune awakening or snowrunner when i want something slow. Waiting for steam frame cause i had a rift cv1 but had no time to play with it 10 years ago and sold it, now i have tons of time and there's more stuff to play in vr too. Really looking forward to Nuclear Option adding vr support.

I like to chill out with Anno games, and play Darktide if I want some fast paced action. Currently waiting the skibidarii techie class personally I would've find it funnier and funner to play as a combat servitor.
