I have three friends on Steam, all whom I met on 4chan.
One of them I play with like twice a year whenever he remembers I exist.
The other one I played TF2 with once while I was playing with the aforementioned friend and have never played again with.
The third one is one of those “always offline” folks even though we chat like once a week on discord but have never, not even once, played vidya together. I kept asking him on discord if we could play something, anything together, but he always says he’s taking a break from videogames only to mention the following day that he’s playing Terraria with his other friends.
I’m just boring and unlikable I guess. Kinda tempted to remove them from my Steam since seeing their usernames just makes me feel bad about how much they don’t wanna play with me, but I know they’d take it as a personal offense if I did, so I guess I just have to eat the emotional damage every time I look at my profile.
