>play Monster Hunter Worlds back when it released>haven't played a different Mon Hun since>reviews for most of the ones that came after that seem to be dogshitAnons, can you recommend me a monhun that is newer than worlds but is not dog shit?
I love brown 2D girls so much...
I actually really like Wilds but I also didn't start playing it until after most of the updates came out, so maybe that's why.
>>741169583me too, especially because they look nothing like real life brown girls
>>741169583What's your favorite Monster Hunter, anon?
>>741169636I want to play it but damn
>>741169748a lot of the bad reviews on Steam come from how demanding Wilds is for computersto be fair, you do kinda need a super computer to get a game that doesn't look that much better then World so I kinda understand it
>>741169436Most negative reviews are due to the game being somewhat ugly while having high spec requirements. I skipped it because the gameplay already bored me during the Beta, but you might enjoy it if you can look past the bad optimization and brown art style.
>>741169436Literally only Rise fits that criteria.Face it, World killed the franchise.
>>741169647World.I apparently deleted all my screenshots. Had a cute brown hunter.
>>741169436Rise is better and has more content than Wilds. It has a more casual/stylized aesthetic compared to Worlds so depending on your taste it may take getting used to. Rise is extremely kino and fun
>>741169856Even a 9850X3D with a 5090 struggles to run Wilds, man. Shit's just completely fucked.
>>741170050>Most negative reviews are due to the game being somewhat ugly while having high spec requirementsThis was a convenient scapegoat early on for those defending the game, but since then most people have realized that even if you look past those problems the game is just not good.
>>741169436Only passable one is Sunbreak aka Rise expansion, but Rise is so cringe with it's wirebug stuff since it happened in the "EVERY GAME NEEDS A GRAPPLING GIMMICK" mini-era of gaming.
>>741169436Rise can be good, didn't like it personally but I can't say it's bad. I just don't like how obnoxiously weeb it is, I don't like feudal Japanese type settings. But that nitpick out of the way? I absolutely hated the spiribird and wirebug mechanic, and the combat itself felt way more weightless and floaty than World. Both Greatsword and Hammer felt like hitting enemies with a wiffleball bat and the constant ninja-like movement while not strictly necessary is very heavily encouraged. You might like Rise, I simply didn't.
After you suffer through base rise sun break is pretty good.
>>741169436Move bitch where the palicos, palmutes at?
>>741169436>newer than worldsso rise and wilds?>not dogshitgood luck.... Your best bet is going back to GU
>>741169436Rise is enjoyable, but it feels quite different from world. I'd say while I didn't find the atmosphere as appealing (feels for more arcade like that world), the wirebug and switch skills are cool. It's a lot easier, as least base game is. And it's nice trying out new weapons skills. Overall gameplay feels less clunky, but not quite as "rewarding" as world.Wilds runs like ass, but I've heard it's gotten better over time. My recommendation is still for Rise. Also you can pick the game and expansion up for like $10 when it goes on sale. It's incredibly cheap.
>>741169436i quit wilds after the first title update but i'm currently replaying mh4u and nadia is making me wanna check out the Gog storyshe's so hot i made my Wilds and 4u huntresses brown girls
>>741169436World + IB is unironically early MH but better. Ignore anything GU/Rise toddlers tell you. Wilds is slop.
>>741169856This regressive slide in attitude is simply astounding. In no way does Wilds or World look remotely better than games like Witcher 3, RDR2, Star Wars Battlefront, or even something as old as the Arkham games, and all of those run significantly better than either MHs. No, Capcom is just shit at optimizing larger map sized games within their RE engine.
>>741173778I forgot to mention this, but I'm trans
>>741174617average GU/Rise toddler response
