>>741245747I played Elden ring on the steam deck when it came out, and it was OK, didn't have any notable performance issues, the low resolution of the handheld screen means it really doesn't stress the system that much. ate battery pretty fast though. I don't have a lot of faith in 3rd party switch ports. but it should be fine.
Like DS1, this is Elden Ring Definitive Edition and the way the game was meant to be played.
