Are treasure maps actually worth it? 10,000 seems kinda steep. Also do enemies just spawn forever until you finish at certain task? I'm on 1-2 (GameCube version), I cleared the map by standing on the bridge and blasting all the zeds, the tense music stopped and no zeds in sight. Next thing you know there's a hundred again.
>>741265313If you aren't using a guide or immaculate memory then yeah, they're worth the payout.
>>741265313nah i don't think there's any part in the og campaign where enemies spawn infinitely. the closest thing to that is the cabin fight which keeps spawning them until you reach the kill goal. treasure maps are worth it if you want to go for all the treasure without using external walkthroughs
Yeah if this is your first run buy the treasure maps
It's a videogame, you seem to misunderstand the point.
>>741265313Treasure maps are something of a gamble, but they'll likely pay off if you aren't being pretty meticulous with your exploration. That one part of 1-2 just has a shit-ton of enemies that arrive in several waves. You can kill all of them, though.
>>741265313It depends how you think about it. 1. The game can be beaten with almost anything and any set up. 2. There is a lot of treasure. Even being very meticulous, I ended up missing a lot of treasure. There's a lot of stupid little spinels out there that are easy to miss. I watched an entire 100% treasure playthrough last year, and it showed many I missed. 3. The missed treasure is certainly MORE than 10,000 Pestisas. 4. You can keep the money and just look up online guides with the same information.
for the first couple playthroughs i did, i didn't bother with the maps.then i said fuck it and tried them out and was surprised by how much shit is well hiddeni'd say so if you want more treasure money
Easily. I even missed the lake hideaway when playing without a map.
