Why would I ever pay for a video game when it's literally a gamble as to whether I like it or not? I don't pay for movies or music either.
>>
That's life. It's a gamble whether or not you'll like a drink, a meal, a concert, an event, a car, a house. But if you never took any risks, you wouldn't get anywhere or learn anything.
>>
to have taste and preference is an expression of wealth and time to develop them. if you dont have the luxury of time or wallet you shouldn't
>>
>>741272036
yup i only pay if I liked it, always pirate first, have pirated hundreds of games, barely any get my cash. and if I can't pirate I simply don't play it, unless it's on sale for $2 at most (and not part of some bundle)
>>
>>741271972
That's why demos and pirating exist, and why big companies are doing away with both
>>
Faith.
>>
>>741271972
you shouldn't pay for anything
but unless you're a complete retard, after playing a certain amount of games you can just tell whether you're going to like something or not by just looking at a single screenshot with 99% accuracy
>>
>>741271972
I read that in Garrett's voice
>>
>>741271972
Gambling is fine in moderation. Just don't be stupid with it and gamble away your entire life's savings.
>>
>>741271972
You make educated guesses and use what you know about the medium and your tastes to find new stuff you believe you would like. And you can use other people to do the same. That's why discussion is such a big part of past times like this.
>>
>>741271972
What do you eat
>>
>>741271972
Demos and piracy are free, retard.
>>
>>741271972
ND's discord would be mad. HOW DARE YOU NOT LOVE OUR NEW REMASTERINOO

PS I will get it via Garret's ways anyway
>>
>>741271972
>Why would I ever pay
Because that's what white people do, as it's the foundation of all western civilization. If you were white you'd know that you have consumer rights and can just refund anything you don't like.
Also if you can't tell whether you'd like a game just by looking at a 30 second gameplay snippet you don't actually play video games and don't belong here.
>>
Why the studio that's behind this remaster released Blood twice??
>>
>>741271972
Well thats easy to answer, it’s because you are a brown subhuman who takes and takes while contributing nothing to the world. Piracy is brown third worlder behavior
>>
>>741274187
What do you mean
>>
>>741274875
You must live a good life if spending money on games is not an issue for your budget
>>
>>741271972
Post hand.
>>
>>741274875
Whites made the best pirates. Vikings, Blackbeard, John Scurvybottom, need I go on?
>>
>>741274973
That's racist
>>
>>741274973
>people who won only 18 out of 49 recorded battles
>schizoid
>literally who who sounds like a gay pornstar nickname
sorry whiteboi but the biggest Gs are us brothas fr
>>
>"The masses will pay for it so I don't have to"
>Video game market becomes saturated with content, themes and political ideals only appealing to the masses
>Indies who don't are still pirated massively
People who don't pay are like people who don't vote. They only see their own singular action and lament they are run over by the thing they say they can't affect.
>>
>>741271972
isnt Thief 123 remaster coming out later this year?
>>
>>741275228
Ask discord fanboys
>>
>>741274973
Those are all criminals who got rightfully tortured and killed
>>
>>741274960
Yes, I have a job and I’m not unemployed living off welfare like the browns posting itt
>>
>>741271972
That's why Steam allow you to refund your game if you don't like it.
>>741275228
Only 1 for the time being. Hopefully T2 is next (with Gold missions).

Good for you, anon
>>

T2 Gold was never finished
>>
>>741274914
How old were you when you last ate something new that your parents didn't pay for
>>
>>741276580
If you want to pay for games because of *insert your reason/s* no one is stopping. You can even legally pay multiple copies of the same game. Do what you want with your money
>>
>>741274960
If spending money on video games is a problem for your budget, you shouldn't be playing video games.
>>
>>741277597
Are you a German by a chance? or do you work at Nightdive and they didn't raise your salary enough?
>>
>>741277853
Yes i'm german, how could you tell?
>>
>>741277989
Brown hands
>>
>>741278139
Absurd levels of cope. If you can't afford to buy video games without that resulting in existential peril you have other things to take care of than playing video games.
>>
>>741278262
What if I can but I'm not willing to? What's your view on that?
>>
As I grow older I genuinely have the philosophy that I do not pay for private digital entertainment/recreation. When I do pay for a game, or an e-book, or an album, etc, I'm not paying for the game, the e-book or an album. I see it as making a donation to a specific creator because I really love their work.

I have no qualms with paying to play a multiplayer game though, paying money to play multiplayer games generally filters out the third worlders.

since fucking when?
>>
>>741279727
He said "generally"
>>
>>741271972
Watch some gameplay first? Are you genuinely retarded?
>>
>>741279727
Ever since f2p live service vidya got big. Why bother buying or pirating when games got free?
>>
>>741280321
They are technically free but the whole foundation beneath them is to make you an addict and spend money on useless shit which is bad for zoomies
>>
>>741279727
overwatch was a massive example IMO, among the other obvious reasons that game died hard
>>
>>741279727
I'm sure it feels overwhelming in pay for MP games as well but you gotta understand we're getting something like millions of new Asians into the gaming sphere every month so filtering out 90% of third worlders still leaves you with tens of thousands who actually pay.
>>
The internet sucks, man. I can't believe the thoughts and opinions of retarded poor brown people get shoved in my face as if they have the same value as the thoughts and opinions of actual ensouled human beings. Every single website is the same. How realistic are my wishes for a fully segregated internet in the near future?
>>
>>741279194
I also agree with "donation" approach, that's fair if you really like something and want to support whoever was behind it
>>
>>741281306
and bots on top of it, don't forget about bots
#botlivesmatter
>>
>>741279727
biggest personal example I can think of are all the Souls games, when it comes to invasions and such
