Getting real fanfic discussion is so fucking nice, I can't believe I avoided it for so many years, makes the whole process feel collaborative.
There's this Elden Ring fanfiction i really liked. It's a "Godwyn survives the knives and the shattering never happens but things still get chaotic" AU so instead of Tarnished in a shattered land it's the demigods and their armies dealing with the fallout in their own ways. The story changes perspectives a lot so things manage to stay interesting. Be warned that it doesn't really take the DLC into account and makes Fia and Fortissax the same person. Some highlights are:>Death itself not wanting to let go of Godwyn and Fiartissax >A good Miquella, Malenia, Vyke and Lansseax trying to keep Leyndell and it's people together >A Marika who's got her shattering plan ruined, Gideon and Morgott trying to tear it apart>A Mohg who is not yet obsessed aiding Miquella for the sake of the Omens and his cult>A Ranni who's presumed dead by everyone else having to travel with Tiche so she can reach contact Radahn>Rykard attacking Leyndell because he thinks Ranni's dead>Godrick attacking Raya Lucaria with the help of Sellen only to get merked by Radahn and a Rennala who's broken out of her madnesshttps://archive.transformativeworks.org/works/44466445And yes the author stopped updating, damn shame.
