Should Wo Long 2 add new weapon types, or original had more than enough?
Straight Sabre
Sword
Curved Sabre
Glaive
Halberd
Staff
Hammer
Poleaxe
Spear
Slashing Spear
Dual Swords
Dual Sabres
Dual Halberds
Cestus
Long Sword
Whip

No, it should actually do the opposite and merge a few of the types from 1 together. Too many one-handed swords and polearms are redundant. Merging them together would give you a larger pool of Martial Arts to choose from, thus expanding the move-set of each type. In other words, merge Sword and both Sabres into one class. Merge Spear and Slashing Spear together and Halberd+Glaive together. Merge dual swords, dual sabres, and dual halberd together. Axe and hammer should be combined as well. Staff, cestus, long sword, and whip all remain the same since they're distinct enough.
