I think the most I can cum to these games is like 3 or 4 times total. Once I got over that and actually played it normally its a bit disappointing.

To be fair most modern games have a pretty boring storyline. I can't remember the last time I played a game and said "HOLY SHIT this story is great!". So having decent gameplay, attractive characters and a great OST still makes it a pretty solid 7/10 game.

it was okay. characters/story wasn't engaging at all, zones were either small hits or BIG misses, and the combat sort of poorly straddles the line between fun action game and weak soulslike.
hopefully the sequel leans more into linear/interconnected world design and they drop the open world zones completely.
