is it "open source" as in they don't care if you fork it and do whatever with it or is it "open source" as in they're only doing it as a PR move and if any fork projects actually arise from it they're going to scream, shit, and close the source instantly in violation of the license the software was released under

You need git-lfs for git to be usable with Unreal (or Unity for that matter).

Does it make it easier to merge Blueprints? I always have to manually inspect the visual diff of Blueprints in Unreal and move nodes around by hand whenever there's a merge conflict. Same for materials.
They added a native MCP in 5.8. I expect to be let down, but if it works well, I'm buying Sweeney a whole box of chewable remotes.
