I love this game, despite it being made by trannies, but I disagree: fixed camera angles (I guess technically they often are just that, but you get my point) would've definitely made the game better. After a while all the tension disappeared. Still an amazing game, in my opinion.

I think the game makes more sense if you see Falke as a replika of a still living Ariane that was found in the Penrose along with Elster - which they might have buried along with a lab where they studied the Penrose/Ariane under the mine in Sierpinski. You'd think she'd get a 'comically mutated' form based off her own doodles like Kolibri or Storch do just because she is the face of the Empire & leader of the protectors - but if Falke didn't exist until after Ariane crashed rather than before - then it would make sense that she just gets the more standard skeletal design. Now Eule did exist along with Arar - and I suspect Star did as well - my thought with those three - is you are less afraid to run into them since they are less involved with the Protektors surveillance state/kidnappings/beatings etc. Stars are involved but they just seem to get a mesh net over the head - which makes me think for most citizens they are more normal cops unless you encounter them with a Storch/Kolibri. Arar's are mostly mechanics - Eule's she had an issue with one at school but otherwise most are normal civil servants. Mynah's the average civilian wouldn't interact with much (unless they were in the mining business) and they are mostly normal aside from the blood pools in the corrupted form - they even sell giant toys of the Mynahs. There is the question of if the lab was owned by the Empire or not - which opens a giant whole can of worms - like what if Ariane's first Replika was the Empress instead. And then the Revolutionaries daughter was them making another Replika - and then an army of Ariane Replika's in the Falke unit.It kind of fits in that everyone who seems to hate the Nation gets mutilated into a Replika defending it post death.
