I once broke a controller not being able to beat a boss during FF12 as a kid, I was getting really tired of wasting my one rental every week on that game. Then once as an adult I broke a monitor play Spyro during an autoflight level, this is my greatest shame.

I watched a bunch of rage compilations when I was 8, and vowed to myself I would never get mad at something as silly as video games ever.
I got my raging out through my teens and early twenties. Now if I feel like I'm not having a good time, I just go do something else. I expect nothing from players and people in general, so their antics don't really bother me. It's usually the game itself that's a problem. Competitive fag games are rarely ever balanced in a satisfying way and rely on being just frustrating enough to keep you coming back. The biggest middle finger you can give to these psychology exploiting multiplayer games is dropping them. If they want to make you into their content, depriving them of a player brings them that much closer to a digital grave.
