I tried using reddit during my "I'm never coming back to 4chan" phase, and discovered it's literally nothing but fake AI posts and advertisements. This site is a dumpster fire, but it could still be so much worse.

I literally had the same experience. I don't know what it is, but everyone was allowed to say meanie words except me.
I wasn't even saying shit like faggot or nigger, but saying something like "fuck" or "dumbass" either triggered it, or it got shadow'd and nothing was actually posted.

yeah basically what happens is you are getting targeted by people from completely other communities. Who knows why they get immunity maybe they are a reddit jannies alt account. It doesnt have to be because you interacted with something political.
Its intentional too because it just frustrates you until you give up, not worth using the site because of that.
For example i had debate with a guy over space flight technology and the guy was just this insult ahole pretending to be an expert. Then my posts started getting shadow banned and he took full advantage of it sending me insulting pms over how my posts were getting banned. I worked out it was because i said some thing in the post that was a trigger word for the jannies (the word was "nuclear"),lol

I noticed this a long time ago on the steam sub reddit. There was this guy that posted on the steam forum and sub reddit under the same name. And all he did was insult people and harass them.
I even asked the steam sub reddit janny why he wasnt banned and they just said "i dunno"
