If sales numbers matter for one game(s), it's the FF7 remakes.These have colossal budgets and clear effort put into them. If the remakes don't sell enough, it's a clear sign to Square to not make these kind of games anymore. They'll just continue to make HD-2D trash and gachas, cause the budget to profit ratio is more appetizing to shareholders.I just want Square to make one last big budget Final Fantasy that has the structure of FF7 Rebirth and turn based, but completely original with none of the western and woke slop in it.
