During marketing it was all controlled environment and shills like Yongyea were cocksucking the game but weren't allowed to record it or talk about bugs. It was gross. What followed was Shazam posting and kurwas spamming giant yellow apology jpegs on twitter, promising to fix everything.Then after a few mediocre patches they got saved in the eyes of the normalcattle with the shitflix cartoon. They hired meme guys and jewtubers to push an engoodening narrative and the rest is history. The game is still janky, the story is still railroaded shit and the RED engine is still in the trash with HQ moved to boston.

I played the shit out of it in release. Wanted to be swords only but it was pretty weak so I went netrunner instead. Crazy powerful. I did experience a lot of bullshit glitches, like the HUD getting stuck so quickhacks were greyed out. I remember the funny shit too. Like cars zooming around like they all had asian female drivers, them teleporting, crashing for no reason, etc. I also remember how turning around changed objects like cars and people. Despite all the insanity on release, I don't remember running into a game breaking bug. Might need to restart it sure, but I don't remember having to reload an old save or something.
