The median age of nitendo consumers is like 38. They are a console for millenials. Thats why they mostly rehash stuff and appeal to nostalgia.
But they are not creating new fans, so in 20 years or so, once the millenaisl die due to overwork and lack of retirement optins, Nintendo will have nobody to seel their products to.
