I like the game, but the music is my biggest issue. If they were trying to emulate the more limited sound of the older 2D games, it didn't work well. I can't remember a single track from Dread.

>>741463179It's hyperlinear to the point of absurdity, for all the shit people give Beyond it is far less actively handholdy, yes you get a general objective in Beyond but you are usually left alone to find you way there on your own, Dread doesn't tell you where to go but it funnels you by design to the point that it takes effort to get lost.

I think that and the damage output on everything are the only things I don't like in the game, otherwise for me it's the best Metroid game. Controls like butter and makes me wish Samus Returns got a Switch remaster with the same or a similar control scheme or they'd announce Metroid 6 already
