Having only played Kirby's Adventures, Nitemare in Dreamland, 64, and Return to Dreamland, I remember enjoying the latter a lot. Hopefully not just "newer game gooder" given how similar the series is.

There might be an assist PNG in road trip mode I'm forgetting but you get where I'm coming from. But it is as you say, the game's only flaws lie in what it lacks and not in what it has.

superstar is the objective winner but my favorite is dreamland 3 that game is like melatonin for the soul

>>741480545not quite. sakurai very likely just hates regular looking humanoids in his vision of kirby. iirc he imposed a strict "no humans" rule for the anime. to be fair they do kinda stick out in kirby, especially the fairy queen.this is probably one of the reasons why characters such as susie and the mage sisters got that rayman thing going on. it's like a workaround of sorts to respect those wishes, or maybe they're easier to animate that way.
