Because the people using ai are typically doing it because of laziness or to cut corners/save money if they're a company. The mindset they're going in with guarantees a shit product. Like the doujin example is probably the simplest to demonstrate, you could have an ai do the translation and then go through it, fix up the grammar, double check any weird inconsistencies and shit, and properly typeset it all. But basically no one does that, they just throw the pages into a translator and then post the raw output no matter how shit it is.
