I can't verify this because the release build was so horribly bad it soured me on ever giving it another chance. It's fine to think the game is good, but we've barely played the same game and neglecting the valid claims and complaints of people who bought and supported this on release because Square felt compelled to 'finish' it a year or more later, is dishonest. A mainline FF title shouldn't be a fucking Early Access.

The secret dungeon first and foremost as it's one of my favorites. Story is pretty short and butchered so treat that as the side game and the side shit as the main game.
