The flow of the game's pretty cool, but the minigames are total bullshit, do NOT be afraid to in-game pause during them so you can get good scores...The current version of the translation is 1.1, make sure you nab a pre-patched or patch it yourself. version 1.1 of the patch translates the dlc e-mail, where your idol will send you an email of some random musings...Installing the dlc trippped me up, go to your documents folder where you installed the emulator...PPSSPP > PSP > GAME >and have the foldersDownload Plus UpdateNPXP00100Along with a folder named after the ID of the game you're playing, which should be displayed in the top left of the window belonging to the emulator. It's really easy.All of the DLC content is in the NPXP00100 folder.

Then around 2010 the PS3 got good and cheap while Microsoft started enshittifying the 360 with the Kinect and massive western casual push, so console gamers in Japan switched over to the PS3. That's also when Idolm@ster 2 got ported to the PS3, the G4U side games were made PS3 exclusive and then eventually One For All was also made PS3 exclusive.

Arise was technically impressive when I played it, but I've since come to recognize that 'style' as being pretty similar to default Unreal Engine with a weird paint splotch filter on it.I guess that explains why they did it, though, it's probably easier than using a custom style.
