I'm constantly aware that I'm holding this thing. It never feels natural.
>>741539390My condolences, I've never personally had that issue.
>>741539390it's the dpad position that makes it annoying for me
sorry to hear that. Maybe you can sell it on ebay or something to make some money back.Mine feels good.
>>741539390>new orders expected for 2027>mine is still sealed.
>>741539390I bought this instead. It's great and works with no hassle outside of Steam too. Its ergonomics are nice too.
>>741541710>can make hefty profit on my sealed controllerHmmmmm
how is the haptics compared to a dualsense?
>>741541943>won't sell mine so the prices of the other scalpers will be even higher
>>741541992extremely poor. it's the worst thing about it in my opinion.
>>741539390The original steam controller was similar. As a couch mouse it's fine but it's a pretty piss poor controller.A second thumbstick helps but they sacrificed the ergonomics too much with that trackpad layout. I would've preferred modular slots so you can pick and choose what you want on the controller.
>>741542652>I would've preferred modular slots so you can pick and choose what you want on the controller.Yes this would have been the most obvious shit. There are luckily chink alternatives for similar price that does this.>>741541905 Trackpads are never going to justify their space.
>>741542931There's someone at valve hard pushing touchpads on controllers since the HTC Vive days. So many people complained about the lack of physical buttons they had to shrink the touchpads on the index controllers to basically useless vertical touch scroll wheels to leave space for normal ass buttons.I think they know if people had the modular option they would dump the trackpads altogether. They're trying to build their whole ecosystem around them so they force them in wherever they can.
im still waiting to get my controller in the mail. i'm probably going to hate it but I want to try something new.
>>741539390Maybe you shouldn't have tiny little fag hands
>>741543783>shrink the touchpads on the index controllers to basically uselessCounterpoint: 90% of vr games are shooters, and pulling back the hammer on a handgun with a motion feels better than with a press of a button. That's basically all the use it needed to justify being there.
>>741539390>mfw people still don't understand whether they should buy it or notit's meant to be M&K on your couch so you can play games that use them natively. steam controller is not meant to replace your existing gamepad.
>>741544057yeah let me go to the hand store and get new ones
>>741544145i got it mostly for vns. not sure what else i would actually want to play on it.
>>741544156Good, glad you solved it for yourself
