>it’s so boring

this was my intro to the series and i quite liked it, it was at least exciting in the early game and the like, but i kind of got tired of it. definitely a cool idea that even executes it quite well though

By Duncan's beard! We must save Ferelden from the threat of dark spawn!

It is. Game suffers from big zones with nowhere near enough content. Hence the generated chores game throws at you for resources. Hell, it even realizes how dull the entire thing is so it lets you BUY Power to progress.

>>741541249
I just said myself finished with Inquisition and started on Veilguard. What do you find boring?
>>
The DLC actually were pretty good. The issue with the main story is the main villain wasn't much of a threat, he looked weird and jobbed constantly. And when he did "win" by destroying ur base u found a new, cooler one literally right after. I also dont recall anyone important actually dying at any point.
>>
It was from the "more content = better game" school of thought.
>>
>>741542337
because it's a story heavy rpg than leans into MMO territory. it's replayability comes from different outcomes and npc relationships.
>>
>>741541793
You can just skip all that and play the story straight. It's has some of the best well designed open world in a game of that gen. If they built off of that instead of whatever Veilguard was it could've been perfect.

Mark Darrah specifically called all the fetch quests for "filling the game with shit" near the end of Inquisition's development.
>>
I've been told that I shouldn't have done all of the side quests, but I did and then I got bored too.
>>
>>741544221
Another one lost to the Hinterlands.
>>
>>741541249
It's comfy. I just hate that I waited over 10 years for the shit that was Veilguard.
>>
>>741544559
The "get out of the Hinterlands" thing is a cope, because the next areas are exactly the same type of content.

>>741541249
It could have been good to walk around in the admittedly pretty world of DA for hours if the side quests had interesting stories to them but that applies to maybe 5% of them

I played the entire game, including the two DLCs, and it's shit all the way to the end.

>Hee hee but why did you finish it if you didn't enjoy it lol
Fuck you black ass nigger.
>>
>>741541249
I found it okay. I ended up enjoying the main quest more than the original DAO. There's no reason to do the MMO-tier garbage.
>>
>>741541249
it is.
there's some stuff I like but the only real part I love is Trespasser.

Steaming pile of fly covered dog shit, the fact that it won GOTY it’s enough to realized how much of a dogshit year for gaming 2014 was

I like how that elf's titties sag down to her navel
No I haven't played it

it's a shame you can't dick her

I will never install any DA game after DA2

WHO SAID THIS

literally everyone
hell, even I said that and I technically like the game
>>
>>741541249
Get out of the Hinterlands, it's a content trap.
>>
>>741553812
Earl Teagan wanted this from the beginning.

You don't get it, I have to finish all the tasks

Please wait 14 hours in real life before advancing the story. Thank you.

This. The game doesn't even bother having NPCs giver you fetch quests. You just pick up some letter that gives you the quest
>>
The Cisquistion wasn't made for you, chud
>>
>>741541249
So is Origins. I have no idea how it got such a huge fan base. It's the most bland, generic RPG I've ever played
>>
I think the zones were mostly pretty good and rather unique. banter was good as always.
>>
>>741557703
It came out during CRPG drought years. We really didn't have much else to play. Never hated Origins. But the CRPG revival of the past decade greatly overshadows any games released in that era. Only an actual enthusiast would know this.

>there are people who played this shit on console who couldn't mod out the waiting times

I’m still mad we finally got playable femQunari and they look like misshapen dough men with literally negative muscle mass

I really liked the desert areas because I love deserts. Thank you for reading my blog

I can't believe we still got people glazing Inquisition in this thread, when it patently killed the franchise. Great for you for liking it, but you are exactly the kind of useful idiots Bioware needed for this game, amplifying your voices in echo-chambers trying to play it up like it was some great RPG. /dag/ died just 2 months after Inquisition's release, and /dag/ had sustained itself for 3 years, after DA2. That alone tells you just how much people enjoyed the game that they shut up about it. Much like /meg/ was killed 2 months after Andromeda released, after surviving something like ME3. People didn't like the companions, didn't like the story, didn't like the gameplay, didn't like the world, and Bioware chose to listen to a minority within the fanbase and follow it through with more shit. Shit that took way too long to make. And that's how you get Veilguard. It is exactly the kind of thing the Inquisition fanbase guided Bioware to make.

>>741541249
It's worse than boring, it's grating. Not only is nothing interesting happening, the game is yelling at you the whole fucking time about how engaging it is.
>WATCH OUT THEY'RE ATTACKING
>PROJECTILES HURT IF THEY HIT YOU
>IF YOU HIT THE ENEMY THE HEALTHBAR LOWERS
