The game is great. For best best results you should put yourself in the 2021 mindset, probably by reading through Crisis Zone.

You have a target you need to take out, and an entire map for you to explore and how you achieve your goal is up to you. Everything is open, there isnt a linear path, nothing blocking you from doing whatever the fuck.

I'm pretty sure the setting is sweet but I don't "get" the gameplay and the storytelling is like if your first experience of Morrowind was starting someone else's save from 20 hours in. I haven't touched it since it came out though so idk what state it's in now.
