>>741573583If you are playing in the Steam version, change your starting gear settings to the other one, it comes with a bag and a much better light source.Try to make some basic gear by gathering foliage from whatever plants you can find, use them to make canvas (which you can also use to make life saving bandages) and rope to make more bags as your inventory fills. Next step is to make some canteens in case you find a minibarrel with a valuable fluid inside (you can find out the value of the liquid by shifting over it, i believe). You can pretty much buy out an entire trader's inventory with less than 50 ml of fent (you can also pour some of the liquid in another container so you don't waste expensive liquid in an already maxed out trader). After this, you can probably just scavenge normally for items in boxes or drop pods if you don't want to bother with more complex crafting stuff.If you want to focus on crafting, try to make a mat pouch as soon as possible, without it, carrying the absurd amounts of crafting materials you will need to make the more powerful craftable items will be incredibly shit to manage and incredibly heavy in equal measure.

It's brilliantly simple because the problem is salad fights can be quite stressful and intense and movement mistakes and falls while desperately trying to not become an amputee and while manipulating your firearm and ammo become very easy to make. So naturally the solution is to divide the mental efforts among two players, one who only shoots, and another who only moves. The shooter can entirely focus on shooting and working their gun, reloading, fixing jams, ect. While the mover can entirely focus on watching out for traps and not falling.We were gearing up during the max settings run explicitly to enact this crack gameplay strat and were well-equipped with guns and ammo but unfortunately we never made it to layer 5. And there's a good chance even if we did, the lag on layer 5 would have been unbearable. Still would have been worth it though.Note, maximum piggyback stack limits were greatly increased for these webms. But my fellow expie's firearms tore it apart. And its delicious orange flesh was exactly what I needed. This marks the very first salad kill in the several lobbies I've hosted here so far. I was too focused on attempting to attack the monster (very ineffectually) with my plasma cutter and never noticed my fellow expie's lit stick of dynamite they threw at the beast until it exploded, I was very fortunate to be unharmed.And of course we get the solar flare modifier for layer 5 and have to play as if unchipped, preventing us from wallhacking. Smaller mass and size would allow you to more easily navigate, starting off with 16 INT, the only skill that is an effort to level up, no bullshit self-harm until -100, fucking keybinds trivializing gunplay. The cons are just annoyances. Sleeping can be done anywhere since the game fast forwards and essentially pauses the environment. Nausea can easily be circumvented once you get to layer four and get access to Helluce, allowing you to bulk up in calories without penalties. Fragile claws are a non-issue once you get your first proper digging tool.

Really, instead of balancing around stats or trivializing game aspects, I believe multipliers would be a better means to balance. This will make their gunplay bonuses notable without ignoring the only challenge in gunplay.
