I've been considering getting like an fpga console or a MiSter maybe to play stuff up to PS1 / N64 / Saturn and stuff like Sega CD, but if I'm just going to end up loading things off flash carts or SD cards anyways, wouldn't it just be better to use an old laptop or get something like a RasberryPi made into a poorman console to emulate older games on in that scenario? I'm an old fag and just wanna load up some old games to mess with now and then to see what all I missed in the past since I never had NEOGEO or PC Engine and all that non-Nintendo / Sega stuff in the past and enjoy it on my TV or monitor now and then.
