Just want to mention the original "wide style" GBA had NO BACK LIGHTING.You had to buy a third party fucking lamp that sat overtop the game boy and ate an extra 20% battery charge if you wanted to see anything anywhere outside of direct sunlight. They fixed it with the SP model, but until then playing the GBA was unpleasant.At least you could fucking see the Virtual Boy's screen.

>>741599973Hardly, I'd almost say the Switch was worse because if a game on the WiiU was good it was really good but if it was bad it was almost abysmal while the Switch really didn't do anything really new and exciting as hardware or in it's game library even worse is the fact that the Switch 2 is eating up all the same Switch games like the Switch did to the WiiU.Sadly it'll always be one of those consoles that just gets absolutely shitted on even if there was justification for it like that dogshit reveal, first year drought and Nintendo damn near abandoning the thing. Don't even get me started with the stupid shit like removing all the gamepad features in BotW, gutting the tingle tuner and the missed opportunities of games like Four Swords and Crystal Chronicles getting updated releases especially after what we saw a few years later when they did finally release FF:CC again on current consoles.

The WiiU was a disappointment with its almost complete lack of good games from their more important series (by the time BotW was released, it was promoted more as a Switch game and sales immediately proved that), but it still spawned several important games like Splatoon and Super Mario Maker. Second worst would be more appropriate.
