Did you know that everyone in the Lylat system is gay? To make that clear, Nintendo exclusively hired flamboyant theater kids to voice the remake.
>>
>Did you know that everyone in the Lylat system is gay?
I have illustrations to prove it.

Good. Post gay StarFox stuff now.

>"we're star fox."
Why does Fox sound smarmy rather than confident like in 64. I'm not getting "leader energy" from him.

A lot of them sound fine, it's just Fox and Peppy that sound way too chill.

>everyone in the replies trashing the game
when Indian devs get their hands on your franchise, they turn it into instantly recognizable cowshit KEK
>>
>>741606709
It's odd how phoned in that line sounds, and it's right on the first stage.
>"Can't let you do that star fox"
It also sounds like the VA doesn't know the context of the scene he's voicing.

Makes sense. They all sound like they're reading a line off a paper. No depth or emotion at all.

When will Nintendo release a good game this year instead of slop that wasn’t even developed by a Nintendo team?
>>
I'm actually strongly leaning against getting the remake solely because the new voice acting is so bad. The campy performances in SF64 are one of the most prominent and memorable parts of the game to me, and these new performances are so dull it's actually physically painful to hear them.
>>
>>741606709
To be fair, that scene got cut short. He says more and it actually sounds okay with the added dialogue. Here's a better look: https://youtu.be/Z9WaZkDm3dQ?t=178
I think I'm most insulted by ROB's voice and Falco's delivery on "I've been saved by Fox, how swell."

Jews put Indians in positions of power for their sycophantic dick sucking
Do not buy this game

He doesn't even sound remotely sarcastic anymore wtf

idk what it is, but a lot of Nintendo's games seem to have terrible voice direction given to the VAs

Despite being allegedly praised for all the offshore cheap coding and IT they do, India has never made one good video game ever. Let that sink in.

Tech culture of one dozen middle managers and yes men for every one guy who knows his shit.
>>
>>741607805
That's the thing about it. People are too quick to blame the actors for poor performance, but in reality it's the Voice Director who should get just as much criticism. It's their job to tell actors how to emote, pinpoint what's good and what needs a retake, and finalize the dialogue. Star Fox 3D had this issue as well. Instead of reusing the audio from the 64 game, they re-recorded everything using most of the original cast, but had the actors put too much emphasis on the "cheesiness" into their delivery.

No, I think you got that quote wrong. the line I heard was:

the n64 voices were so much better than the switch 2 remake. also should've gotten scott mcneil to do wolf o donnel over steve blum.

>>741608287
IMO another good example of this is to look at Xenoblade DE, with the performances for Shulk and Melia's VAs in the new content against the original game. They do not emote enough and are too quiet for some of the situations they end up in for some of the battle cutscenes, when base game absolutely shows they can do it.

There is not a single man with testosterone in that picture. Thank you for proving my point, pajeet.

i dont understand how pretty much no one on earth thinks this sounds good, and yet it still made it into the game?

>>741609194
The uglification and enshittening of everything in modern media is done on purpose by kikes to demoralize you. Just buy stellar blade 2 or emulate old games and call it a day.
>>
>>741607969
The entire video is bad but I actually laughed my ass off at General Pepper's overly casual "We need your help, Star Fox!". He said it like he needed Fox to pick up some fucking milk at the store, it's so genuinely bad.
>>
>>741604887
problem is theyre actually hiring these internet people who aspire to be "voice actors" and the quality is nosediving

Majority of it sounded fine, comprable to Assault, except for Wolf who is downgraded. Lord have mercy though, that Andrew VA. What the fuck. All in all the overarching issue is that everybody sounds bored, and in all honesty the gameplay looks boring.
Star Fox really needed to embrace the potential for failure. Levels needed to be fast and difficult. I don't think this stupid ass company has ever accounted for the broad increase in generational reaction speed, due largely as a result of exposure to, you guessed it, computron gaems.
The gameplay looks as engaging as a round of solitaire.
I'd rather play Tetris 99.
Nintendo is such an embarrassing corporation of bums.
>>
So
>Muh bad voice acting
Is the narrative that faggots on /v/ decided to use to shit on this game?

Damn, every aspect of it must be phenomenal if that's the case.

I'll always play on japanese anyway so I don't care

ironic that for all the posturing about "wanting accuracy", SF64 got it wrong

What's the point of Star Fox if Ace Combat exists? Surely there are furry mods for the latter.
>>
>>741610673
I literally preordered the game after playing the demo and it's pre-loaded on my Switch 2 right now, but I still admit that the voice acting is complete dogshit that actively harms my enjoyment. I think the graphics look great, I think the game plays perfectly, I think it's more fun to play than the original SF64, but none of that will change the fact that the voice acting is COMPLETE AND UTTER DOGSHIT.
>>
>>741610673
Stop slurping turds or Nintendo will keep shitting them out. Faggots like you are what ruined Pokemon and others.
>>
i too am enjoying STARFOX 64 for the NINTENDO SWITCH 2 RATED T FOR TEN in this thread
>>
>>741604887
Why is the voice acting worse is the remake
>>
>We're Star Fox
Why does he sound like he's doing ASMR?
>>
Theatre actors are the reason why those old games sounded the way they did. It was either theatre actors inbetween gigs or the nearest white guy in Japan willing to work for a few hundred dollars across a few days. I remember I heard somewhere that the voice actors for House of the Dead 2 were doing three whole games that same day.

The new voices sound ass but not because "theatre actors" and they might not sound so bad if we didn't already have these holy shit... almost 30 year old iconic lines as a base that they are tasked with matching or improving.
>>
>>741612558
Already pre-ordered, will be playing rhe moment it's available. Sorry you're so envious
