They really didn't know where to go with this story huh.The find the hidden planet and the Indian guy wants to keep his daughter safe but still wants to fight them for some reason.Then it just ends there.The gameplay was ok but I wouldn't play through it again

Yeah the story and setting suck compared to FO but the gameplay is way, way better. I was surprised by how fun this game felt despite the open world bloatshit

>>741609478The crux of the story was that the Empire has their fingers in every conceivable pie and ones they don't have Imperial spies on them. The planet was the only one that made it impossible to traverse even with The Force, required a very specific star chart to reach it, and only Jedi even knew it existed. Bode himself also betrayed the Empire by taking his daughter with him there so they'd be officially after him at that point.

Betrays and pisses off Cal to go to an empty dead planet to just live there forever with just his daughter.Cal of course is pissed and knows where he went, and is able to reach Tanalor anyway, so this was a horrible idea of Bode's from inception that gets him killed.I get the Star Wars universe is weird when it comes to scale and how easy it is to find people, but Bode's strategy would have been far more effective just fucking off to some random sparsely populated planet.

Everything is pretty clearly spelled out but there always seems to be someone who somehow got to the end with absolutely no idea what was going on. Bode had a massive fucking target on his back and he didn't want to live his life in constant fear for his daughters safety. He didn't want to betray Cal but the decision to use tanalor as an active resistance base forced his hand. He never learned about the backup hidden in the message and thought he had shut off all access to tanalor by stealing the compass and killing the only man who knew how to repair them.
