Also, in the beginning, don't invest points into active skills that deal pure damage only, and don't invest points into the active skills that consume lots of energy meter (I forgot what the energy meters were called), because you won't have a lot of energy meter or a lot of ways to sustain the meter in the first place. One skill is an exception to the above - there's only ONE skill in the entire game (iirc) that lets you lifesteal, and it scales up with multiple enemies. Basically, if you're close to dying against like 3+ enemies, you pop that skill, it kills them, and it heals you. The more enemies, the more health is leeched. Also, picrel enemy later on - you just have to parry all her attacks and she'll yield, dont bother chipping away at her health.

When you think about it, the general templates for the story are pretty strong. It falls apart at the level of "okay, now take these general overviews and turn them into an actual series of scenes".They really needed their A-team working on this, because we know that Shift Up has writers that can do both drama and comedy.
