The only reason you faggots don't praise this as the best 2D Zelda game is because it came out on a handheld at the end of the Game Boy's life cycle, from a game design standpoint this does everything better than A Link to the Past and has far more depth to its gameplay and puzzles. It's the equivalent to Castlevania with OOE being much better than SOTN, which only has its Presentation going for it

Kinstones were an annoyance and the game likes to reuse Wind Waker assets instead of try to invent its own identity, which feels weird for the first entry in the Four Sword trilogy. The Oracle games have gachas too, but they're nowhere near as bad as Minish Cap's.It's also rather short. Capcom Zeldas had always been my favorite and I wish there'd be more games in their vein. Not necessarily in the Zelda franchise too. It's a shame and a surprise though that we have gotten so many quality -vanias but never got enough good 2D Zelda-likes. The formula seems replicatable enough to be iterated upon like with platformers and -vanias yet here we are.

Link's Awakening is immaculate. Really love it.Season's has better vibes than Ages, but Ages has more content and better dungeons. Elementalis is a recently released great zelda homage and Mina the hollower has the same style but not really the gameplay.Isle of reveries looks really promising.
