Anyone who doesn't like this game is an idiot.

Fun reminder: It sold more than the sloppy shop Dead Space remake which was also not considered a success, so if you want to go "Dead Space good, Callisto Protocol bad", that doesn't fly here bucko.

Whatever you say, Josh Duhamel hahaa

>Anyone who doesn't like what I like is an idiot.
Wow, you're a faggot
>>
>>741615639
Just go watch carci's no damage run of it. The game is hilariously bad.
>>
>>741615639
I heard that game's ending was basically "none of what you did mattered and yer dead and go fuck yourself" so I never bothered, I'm very autistic about my endings even in gameplay focused games.
>>
>>741615639
I liked it too. But it needed more weapons and the ending was gay as fuck
>>
>>741616041
>>741616071
The DLC ending is great because very few horror games ever go that dark unless it's like "you got the bad ending woopsie replay it and get the good ending!"
>>
>>741615639
Could you explain why it's good then for those of us who didn't play the game, ya big poofder
>>
>>741616041
From what I remember, and this is big spoilers.
The vanilla game ending has you sacrifice yourself for another, and cuts to black as you begin to fight for your life. The DLC starts with you doing exactly that. It's at the end of the DLC you realize you actually got fucked and "died" when the screen fades to black, and all that you did since then was in your mind, induced by a science bitch, and then you die.
Technically, what you did does matter. Just not for the main character, whatever his name is, because his story is over.
>>
>>741616092
No. Any ending that is “it was all a dream” is automatically dogshit
>>
>>741616278
That's not the point of the DLC or the first game.
>>
>>741615639
Why did you hide your playtime? Makes it seem like you haven't actually played through it and cheated the cheevo
>>
>>741615639
why are you comparing it to the remake and not the original?
>>
>>741615639
post ur eye and nipples and ill play ur game (if they are the right color)
>>
>>741616378
Because Dead Space 1 is old and Dead Space 1 remake was supposed to get a Dead Space 2 remake
>>
>>741615639
Simping for an objectively shit game does not make for a personality.
>>
>>741616449
Then explain Dark Souls 2 fans
>>
I thought the game was fun. the whole AAAA thing was unintentionally funny. when I tell people I liked it they look at me like I'm a fucking moron. Maybe I am. Who knows
>>
>>741616496
Have you tried it on Hardcore? My first time through the game was HC and it was fucking brutal. Nearly softlocked myself several times.
>>
>>741615639
I enjoyed it well enough. The combat was kinda jank though.
If I had to rate it I'd give it maybe an 8/10.
I was surprised to find out most people disliked it.
>>
>>741616673
Some people will never be honest in that unless it was literally Dead Space 4, they just wouldn't like it regardless. Same thing happened with Mighty No. 9, which isn't even close to the worst Mega Man game.
>>
>>741615639
I liked it too, it was a good effort but they really needed to think the melee system and the focus on melee through a little more.
>>
>>741617461
>When DLC is the only time blocking is worth doing
>>
>>741616465
Scholar ran perfectly on my potato that played dsptd like a slideshow and I'm a shield chad so I didn't care if rollfaggotry was nerfed.
>>
I think they went in with the expectation of a sequel or some shit because they had all those majestic 12 goobers at the end, shits a joke because of how arrogant they are
>>
>>741615639
Graphics are really good and the Asian is bad af.
Crazy how many ppl get filtered by this game. Completion rate is abysmal

I feel like the combat is missing something. A sequel would have been cool to see how it improved on it but that’s never gonna happen
>>
>>741617521
I think the fact that there are no good locations outside of DLC ones like Shulva (which is also the only good DLC level) is a big problem
>>
>>741617576
Yeah I liked the level building in DS better but it was really only great in firelink-parish-burg. After the game opens up it's like following individual tentacles out from the octopus body and 2 just felt like a continuation of that without its own nice body to start with.
>>
>>741615639
>hiding playtime
you know that people are just gonna assume you're a retard that takes too long to finish a game, right?
>>
>>741617702
Hardcore difficulty is no joke though

Being able to play like a faggot is not a requirement that one must do so. Mostly you just find the faggots playing like this.

It's funny how you have to bring up dead space demake, yeah it's also fucking trash made by sub-humans.
Good job!

How exactly do you play that game without using dodge. That's what dodge looks like in that game

>>
>>741618224
Every time that I think about playing the Dead Space demake when it goes on sale for $5, I think about my fond memories of DS1 and DS2 and how an entire game of shit like that webm would ruin them.
>>
>>741615639
>It sold more than the sloppy shop Dead Space remake which was also not considered a success, so if you want to go "Dead Space good, Callisto Protocol bad", that doesn't fly here bucko.
I don't think having more sales means a game is better.
Fag.
>>
>>741619530
He's dodging and dodging appears to be so braindead easy that you can blindly mash buttons and not get hit.
Shit game.
>>
>>741615639
>Anyone who doesn't like this game is an idiot.
It's a garbage game across the board.

Calypso protocol gives me sweet and sour memories. I started dating this girl during the time I started playing this game. I remember playing Clayton Protocol and receiving messages from her, telling me to go to her place and then I would immediately turn off the game and take the train.
Can't play this horror game without thinking of her. I enjoyed it tho, even if it wasn't perfect at times. The game was fine too.
>>
>>741615639
Dead Space good
Dead Space remake bad
>>
To be honest it stopped being good after the nerf patch. They ruined a lot about the game including speeding up healing animations ridiculously, enemy behaviours and AI (enemies no longer gang attack you), and even some weird stuff like changing sound effects to be softer. If you can downgrade to the old version of the game I'd recommend to after you've played the expansion and whatever
>>
>>741619530
He is demonstrating how the dodge mechanic works, yes. And he's demonstrating how broken the mechanic is, you literally can't lose if you just spam the buttons
>>
>>741619889
Dead Space Remake is actually the superior one. It keeps the same vibe, atmosphere, oppressive horror, it doesn't make shit easier, it doesn't try to make it more cinematic. It's Dead space 1, but new areas, superior gameplay, better visuals and a metroidvania like design.
>>
>>741620096
Probably at one point it was more hardcore, but then they realised just how difficult it was for the average Dead Space loving normie. (Who are casuals and lets not pretend otherwise)
>>
Yeah yeah. It was sooooo good that it was a gigantic failure. Get a real job pajeet.
>D-DUDE THIS CINEMATIC HANDHOLDY CONSOLE PRODUCT THAT ALMOST PLAYS ITSELF WAS FUCKING BRUTAL ON HARD DIFFICULTY HAHAHA
Casuals need to stick to Popcap games.
>>
>>741620096
True now but didn't used to be when enemies bumrushed you originally. One of the most popular complaints about the game in the early days was that the combat system fell apart or literally became impossible when multiple enemies started rushing you and hitting you, because they'd break your dodge lock. Players were too stupid to realise you can exit the melee + dodge sequence by aiming your gun and that you were supposed to be mixing it up and shooting shit as well.
>>
>>741620339
Reminds me of Outlast 2 where they nerfed the game to hell based on pussy ass critics who suck at games. "Oh it's not scary because I keep dying" THEN STOP FAILING AT THE GAME FUCKER
>>
The game is objectively trash.

>fighting the same shitty boss 4 times

LMAO
>>
I played this game and i barely remember anything about it. It was okay/10 i wouldn't recommend it to anyone because it was pretty much just okay and i would feel bad unless they got it on sale don't seem to remember anything terrible about it so i dunno thanks for reading my blog
>>
>>741615639
Bad game.
Bad story
Bad characters.
Bad gameplay.
Bad everything.
>>
>>741615639

>>
I dropped this because if you pick up items from two rooms, then die you need to do it again, fuck that, stop wasting my time.
>>
>>741621254
It's very bad though and could've used coop.
>>
>>741615639
Shit game. Hallway simulation with so many walking/squeezing between things/crawling through vent sections.
>>
>>741615639
I tried it for an hour or two when i still had goypass. I didn't like the melee focus because it clearly wouldn't evolve throughout the game. It was also absurdly linear. Dead Space was a corridor shooter yes but the entire game wasn't just halways upon halways like Calisto.
>>
>>741621662
So I see you haven't played OG Dead Space 1 in awhile.
>>
>>741620096
