I used to be addicted to zombies but then I did the Shaolin Shuffle EE and that map single-handily destroyed all enjoyment I had for the gamemode. I still have PTSD just thinking about it.

The CoD Zombies stuff always frustrated me ever since Ascension, because they all had these “Easter Egg” quest lines which are really convoluted and cryptic and basically demands that you have a youtube guide on another monitor. And even then, it’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to do the questlines (yes, questlines, I’m not fucking calling them “Easter Eggs”) when you’re playing solo. If you have no friends then you’re basically cucked from ever completing any of the questlines. And there’s something about the questlines that just makes them so extremely tempting to do. Then you watch a guide on youtube and it looks like the coolest shit ever. There’s all these really cool set pieces locked behind questline progress, but I know I’ll never get to see any of it myself because it’s just impossible for me to do the questlines myself. The single only questline I’ve ever done is the Call of the Dead one. And, man, the high I got after completing that questline… Holy shit, I wish I could package that up and inject it into my veins

I had to do that to complete the Shadows' EE and it wasn't bad. The people I played with were super nice and accommodating.
