"Having consoles hooked up" has been a pretty obsolete concept for over a decade now. The only console I have "hooked up" right now is my OLED Switch. About everything, it's easier to just emulate. The Switch is just unique enough to keep plugged in because joycons and all that are hard to replicate via emulation.
