>>741673978Sinnoh predates the Fairy type, so there aren't many native Fairy Pokémon compared to newer regions.Most of the Pokémon that later became Fairy-type are concentrated in a few evolutionary lines:-Clefable line-Togekiss line-Mime Jr. lineSinnoh is arguably one of the most Steel-centric regions since you have stuff like Dialga, Empoleon, Lucario, Bronzong, Magnezone and Bastiodon so a Fairy-type trainer would constantly run into Pokémon that resist Fairy attacks.There also are plenty of Poison-types likeDrapion, Skuntank, Toxicroak and Roserade.It really only falls short with regular Fire type since it only has Infernape and Rapidash (also Heatran if not counting only base Dex)As for the Cover Mon, while Palkia doesn't really shine, you have Dialga that is Steel/Dragon, resists Fairy and Steel is super effective against Fairy.Bonus point is Cynthia that as the Champion has Lucario and Roserade to threaten Fairy trainers.
