They play KOTH too. Payload would suck in 6s because there's too few people, not enough balance between pushing cart and fighting. Highlander uses Payload and KOTH as their main modes instead of 5CP. Kinda wish Gravelpit would come back but almost all of the maps are the community added ones that became official + modded versions of like Granary

Nope. People forget that 6s is a highly curated format with class limits and weapon bans that basically forces this to be the meta.

If you want TF2's true meta in a 6v6 format, I guarantee you two medics (one vaccinator, one flex, likely default to quick fix) would be it. I could see a full time heavy being meta as well, with a Soldier with the whip to enable him, then two flex spots that would be map/role dependent.

Highlander is actually boring as fuck because it's all a bunch of nothing_ever_happens.jpg for 10 minutes at a time, both teams are just wiggling around a choke, until the sniper or spy gets a lucky pick and allows everyone else to push in without getting instantly murdered.
