From easiest to hardest to perfect for me:
>Frisbee>Hoops>Remix>Umbrella>Dino
I perfected frisbee and hoop on first try, remix on second, umbrella on third, and dino on fifth. The only thing that was throwing me off about dino is that it feels like you have to be spot-on to slightly early at the beginning. Haven't tried in handheld mode, so could also just be slight delay messing with me.

>Feeding the Beast
>Brolly Good Show
>Disc Dog = Hoop Trundling
>Remix 1
Would be my rating. Remix 1 wasn't that great and all over the place especially with the Feeding the Beast portions while the Disc Dog stuff felt like it was just there for the sake of having to be. Hoop Trundling is one of those games that feels like it's meant solely for remixes and specifically the final remix because on its own it's clearly just a tutorial like the drums and has no real substance by comparison.

>>741734543
>Patapon.
>Ratatan.
>Melatonin.
>Beats & Bops.
>Rhythm Doctor.
With Melatonin keep in mind that some games can be done with your eyes closed and other feels impossible without it and it's hard to tell until you seriously go after the Perfects.

Half the art and all the menus in the demo feel like a placeholder basic gradient shapes on flat backgrounds, but knowing Nintendo they would never put out an unfinished part of a game as its demo. This is what they want the game to look like.
The latency adjusting screen is just a blank screen with four blinking dots and doesn't give you any visual feedback or numbers for what way it's adjusting and by how much, or how off your input actually is.

You DO know how to count to 7, right?
>>
>>741743554
It's LITERALLY just counting to seven bro.
If you can't keep count well, keep your eye on how the trainer and the dog bounce to the beat. Even during the times when it zooms in, the trainer will go back to bobbing to the beat towards the end of the seven count, you can use that to line yourself back up to the beat if you can't keep up the rhythm for that long.
>>
>>741743680
My timing always veers off with the count since sometimes I react to the cue a little too late/early, but I'll give what you said a go.
>>
>>741731413
This demo is boring...
>>
Do you guys like that it went back to the old scoring system? In the last game (3DS), it scored you from 0 to 100 and there was also a star to collect on each mini game. I personally liked the scoring in the 3DS game as it gave you a reason to replay the songs beyond getting a perfect.

Is it possible to datamine the game?

>>
>>741745336
I’d say it could do without either of them. You should be incentivized to play each game cause it’s fun, whereas with the 0-100 scoring system had you doing them again to aim for as close to absolute perfect as you can. Would rather not have to keep doing one game over and over to aim for a high score to satiate my autism. Skill stars I don’t have much of a problem with but it could be distracting given the lack of a bottom screen and the sfx the plays when you hit it; again, could do without
>>741745716
Yea, but given it’s been a day and we haven’t heard anything juicy likely means there’s nothing more beyond what’s present in the game. Given the switch being hacked they wouldn’t just leave the full game in the demo. Doesn’t matter anyway, pre-downloads start in a couple of days and people will leak the full thing then
>>
>>741745892
Was megamix bad?

>>741745716
you can data mine the demo nsp at least, it looks like there's translated lyrics for the song, i probably added too many line breaks:

My Telepathy! Watashi No Atsui Kosen
Vocals: Yui Sakurai (FRUITS ZIPPER) Lyricist and Composer: Tsunku
Arranger: Kaoru Okubo Translator: Nintendo
So I start thinking about grape juice...
But I've got martial arts in my heart.
Love is complicated...
A chance encounter on the way to school...
Oh, I'm just wandering around.
Heehee... I wish I could meet someone exciting...
But I'm sure I'd probably freeze where I'm standing.
Hey, but that would be my lucky day.
What a spicy lunchtime that would be!
What would happen if I talked to them...
What if we actually got along?
My telepathy zooms on...
Let it fly straight to you, darlin'!
My telepathy is like a laser beam right to your heart!
Their smile always shines so brightly...
Send my burning beams right to them!
>>
>>741748905
Also for whatever reason there's silly lyrics:

My Telepathy! Watashi No Atsui Kosen
Vocals: Yui Sakurai (FRUITS ZIPPER) Lyricist and Composer: Tsunku
Arranger: Kaoru Okubo Silly Lyrics Writer: Nintendo
Add the money, who can boot the Gouda juice?
Cocoa loaning, I'd assume a big ol' cat.
Who could assume the cold cougar home?
Booting eye of the corgi, come on!
Oh, ooga-booga chew!
Of a diner, Aya dyed a docking chant.
As she's crushing yak automatic machine chant!
Some people yam a yucky day, hopin' that
The world got orca sheet.
(Mmm, yummy!)
Kindness she got gettin', lad.
Gold not do day show, whoa!
I'm back in the bag of the month,
Keep ya untidy neigh!
My cat is bushy, good one, good one, you OK?
(Yay!)
Eyes in the motto need ma,
I've seen the thunder cat.
OK, Lee.
My cat is bushy, my car calls your girlfriend.
(Mean!)
I told my itsy mold egg I would
Get kicked out of Daegu.
I've 20 dodos, the ref that's dreamin'
Up two girls say!
(Yay!)
>>
>>741748861
It was different. The worst thing it did was trying to add a story, but the game was overall fine.
>>
>>741748861
its the worst RH game but i'd still rather play that than most modern games
if you just took the games and put it in a regular rhythm heaven structure it would have been great
>>
>>741748861
The biggest issue was that they padded out the game list with shitter baby mode versions of old games, which bogged down the already unnecessary story they added.
>>
>>741748861
It's still Rhythm Heaven so the games themselves are fun. The problem is they add an unskippable story that makes playing through it miserable if you don't care about it.
>>
>>741743612
This was insanely easy and I did it first try, was confused that so many on here were saying it was tough.
>>
>>741748861
It’s absolutely the weakest in the series, but I wouldn’t say it’s overall bad. Still a rhythm heaven game at the end of the day and the new stuff it did introduce are solid between the new games and the challenge train. I feel a lot of the hate it gets is kinda overblown for the above reasons, an unfortunate fate that befalls game entires that land in that category
>>
>people already getting filtered
boy I hope theres some lockstep tier shit in the main game

I was getting filtered pretty bad at first but I think that's because I'm used to following visual cues

Yeah, I got it in like 30 minutes or something. First try on all of them, it wasn't difficult. I was very surprised to see people in yesterday's thread struggling with any of them. Figured /v/ of all places would be okay at it, even if not everyone has played since the GBA days. I dunno, maybe actually having played instruments helps. Though it was merely high school percussion.

So far, only beast and hoop perfects elude me. Though I haven't tried too hard. Quite shocked to perfect the remix without trying that hard, even if it is just the first one. Man, I hope this game is good because I loved this demo.

frisbee dog isn't hard, it just sucks
>>
Just finished the demo and it felt like it lacked a lot of sauce.
I was having input delay issues playing on my TV, but trying to calibrate the delay was very hard since there’s zero feedback. My initial calibration on launch took forever, and then the game said that it was having problems calibrating and just took me to the menu. I wasn’t really a fan of any of the art in these four games so far either - the miniature dog in the frisbee game was cute, and the umbrella guys were charming, but that’s about it. There being no graphical changes for the remix was also a massive disappointment.
I’ll still buy it - I never got to play any games after rhythm paradise due to not owning the systems, but I am disappointed at how empty this demo feels.
